If you are looking for an outdoorsy vacation in the Midwestern United States, check out the Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. Lost Hollow campground is only a five-minute drive from Hocking Hills, and it is less than 10 minutes from fishing and boating opportunities at Lake Logan. The campground offers amenities such as two swimming pools, a nine-hole miniature golf course, storage units and a general store that sells groceries and RV supplies. The campground is a gated resort. An on-site restaurant, Country Kitchen, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. Each of the RV parking sites has hook-ups for electricity, water and sewage.

Top O' the Caves in South Bloomingville is a 20-minute drive from the underground passageways of Ash Cave in Hocking Hills State Park.
