Puppies for Sale" fliers will help your puppies find good homes.
Although your puppies are cute and adorable, the time eventually comes when you must find them a permanent home. Using a graphics program such as PaintShop Pro, you can create attractive fliers to post around town to advertise your puppies for sale. Make the fliers bold, colorful and eye-catching and include all the pertinent information about the puppies to find them good homes.
Instructions
1. Open your graphics program and click the "File" tab. Select "Open" to open a new project layer. Make the dimensions 8.5 inches by 11 inches by inserting these numbers into the blank dimension fields. Select a background color from the Materials Palette (to the right of the workspace) and click the Flood Fill tool from above the workspace. Click your mouse once anywhere within the background layer to apply the color.
2. Make a heading for the flier. Select the font tool from above the workspace and click the drop-down menu beside the tool to browse through the different fonts available. Highlight the font you desire to select it and set the font size by selecting a number in this setting above the workspace. Select a color for the heading in the Materials Palette and click your mouse once at the top of the background layer. Enter "Puppies for Sale" (include the breed of puppies if possible) into the text box that appears and click "Apply."
3. Open the digital image of the puppies within the graphics program by clicking "File," "Open" and then browsing to the location you stored the photo. Resize the image to fit within the flier by clicking the "Image" tab and selecting "Resize" from the drop-down menu. Enter "3" in both the width and height fields to make the image a 3-inch square. Copy the photo to your clipboard (Control + C) and then paste it onto the background layer (Control + L). Drag the image to just below the heading with your mouse.
4. Change the font size to make it smaller (reset the number above the workspace to a smaller number) and click your mouse once beneath the photo. Enter details about the puppies in the text box that appears, including their age, breed, price and any other pertinent selling points. Click "Apply" and the text will appear beneath the photo.
5. Make the font larger by resetting the font size number again and click your mouse beneath the text you just added. Enter your name and contact information (telephone number and email address) in the text box and click "Apply."
6. Click "Layers," "Merge" and "Merge All" to merge the layers. Click "File" and "Save As" to save the flier on your hard drive. Name the project and save it as a JPEG image.
7. Print out the fliers with your color printer by clicking "File," then tab and "Print." Post the fliers around your neighborhood.
