Many of Indiana's cabins are available in the winter as well as the summer.
While the southern third of Indiana has the most cabins, there are some scattered around the rest of the state in wooded areas and state parks as well. Visitors enjoy staying in Indiana's cabins for the peaceful retreat along with the availability of nearby attractions. Though dense in woodlands and prairie, Indiana has diverse urban areas that are not far from many cabin rentals.
State Park Cabin Rentals
Several Indiana state parks offer cabin rental at an affordable price. Family cabins offer bedrooms, kitchens, living areas and restrooms along with privacy. Brown County, Chain O'Lakes, Harmonie, Lincoln, McCormick's Creek, Potato Creek, Shakamak, and Whitewater Memorial state parks offer family cabins, all in different locations of the state. Chain O'Lakes and Potato Creek are located in northern Indiana, while the others are in southcentral or southern Indiana.
Cabin prices can vary during the year. For a five-night stay at the end of April, McCormick's Creek and Lincoln are the least expensive, with Potato Creek and Chain O'Lakes being the most expensive.
