Grants For Women'S Shelters

Woman's shelters are needed across the country

Woman's shelters are supported by grants that are given by foundations. In order to receive a foundation grant a woman's shelter must apply. The application process varies by foundation, but typically requires either a letter of inquiry, full proposal or online application.

The letter of inquiry is a brief proposal, which tells the foundation about the woman's shelter and their need. The full proposal and online application tells the foundation everything about the woman's shelter including their history, program, future plans and budget.

Avon Foundation
