The campground also rents out Airstream trailers that visitors can stay in. The park is in close proximity to beaches, surfing, golfing, the Santa Cruz boardwalk and other tourist attractions. The park provides hookups such as water, electricity and sewage. The Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA features a mini-golf course, heated pool, basketball courts, volleyball courts and horseshoes. The campground is open year-round, and visitors can stay for an extended amount of time.

Big Sur Riverside Campground & Cabins
Big Sur Riverside Campground & Cabins is located on North Highway 1 in Big Sur and has 45 sites available for RV and tent camping. The park is surrounded by redwoods, sits on the Big Sur River and is 10 minutes away from beach access. The RV sites feature 20-amp electrical and water hookups. Each RV site has its own picnic table and fire pit. Big Sur Riverside Campground offers laundry facilities, restrooms and showers. The campsites have a five-person limit, but they do accommodate large groups. The campground is pet-friendly so long as the pets are on a leash. The campground does not have sewer hookups or a dump station.

Westport Beach/North Mendocino KOA
This campground also is a part of Kampgrounds of America. It is located on North Highway 1 and offers travelers access to the beautiful beaches and mountains of California. The campground has 75 sites that can accommodate all sizes of RVs. Tent camping also is available, and large groups can be accommodated. The RV sites feature water, electric and sewage hookups. The sites are spread out among beach, creek and park areas. There are two bathroom and shower buildings on site. The campground also features a volleyball court, laundry facility, camp store and children's play area.
